Big Timber Pioneer, March 12, 1959 Graveside Rites Held For Henry Keithley The Rev. R. R. Price, a vicar of the Episcopal church, officiated at graveside services Friday in MountainView cemetery for Henry Taylor Keithley, 79, who lived in Sweet Grass county from 1908 to 1930 and who passed away March 2, at Miles City. Mr. Keithley came to this area from Montevideo, Minn., to engage in ranching with his father, the late Theodore W. Keithley, in 1908. He was born at Howard Lake, Min., March 21, 1879. In 1912 at Big Timber he was united in marriage with Estella L. Ludlow of Dawson, Minn., and to the union, three children were born; Walter H., Grants, New Mexico; Bonnie, Angela, Mont., and Harold W., Miles City. His wife preceded him in death in 1918. Besides his children, he is survived by ten grandchildren and other relatives. After a few years of ranching near Melville, Mr. Keithley homesteaded east of the ranch and farmed for several years before moving to Big Timber in 1918, where he was employed by the A. W. Miles Co. In 1930 he moved to Miles City to be associated with a farm machinery sales firm and later was employed at the state industrial school before retirement. In later years he had made his home with his daughter Bonnie and his son Harold. He had been in ill health for a number of years and death was incident to age. Funeral services were held at Graves Funeral Chapel in Miles City Friday morning. Attending the rites here were the children and their families, Mrs. M. R. Mensch, Minneapolis, R. D.
