Surviving are his wife, Opal; sons, Clayton H., Lyle E., Vernon E., and Donald W., all at home; sisters, Mrs. L.R. Thomas of Creswell, Ore., Mrs. T.E. Bigham and Mrs. F.D. Burkhalter of Ottumwa and Mrs. F.U. Loomis of Klamath Fall, Ore.; brothers, Dr. Stanley Craft of Ottumwa, Dr. Carlyle, Earl and Jim Craft of Marshalltown. He was preceded in death by a brother, Elery. Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Johnson’s funeral chapel, conducted by the Rev. Harold Lancaster, D.D., pastor of the First Methodist church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rollie DeGoode, Oscar Miers, Paul Walker, Edward Farnsworth, Kenneth DeGoode and Lyle Allen. The body will be taken to the home Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and returned to the chapel at noon.
