He was only 22 years of age and in perfect health, in fact a more perfect specimen of manhood would have been hard to find. A week ago Monday he was in the best of health, robust, hale and hearty. Little was it realized at that time that he was walking in the "Shadow of the Valley of Death." It was only two days later, Wed., that he was stricken with appendicitis which had developed into its most serious stage. The best medical skill was only able to keep the flame of life burning until Sat., when it flickered and went out, taking his soul to his Creator from whence it came. He was a bright young man with all of the hopes of a life of usefulness before him. Two years ago his father preceeded him death which adds to the sorrow of his mother who has the sympathy of the entire community. He belonged to the Woodman lodge in which he was insured. Rev. Winkler preached the funeral sermon. Quite a large number from here attended the services which were held on Mon., Oct. 15. Henry was the son of August Frederick and Pauline Lembke Bremer. Brother of Frank A. (Alvina) , Frederick Wilhelm Heinrich (Mary), August F. (Elsie), Ida Wilma Segebarth (William), and Amelia Augusta Segebarth (William).
