Description	:	The Hooper Sentinel Thursday, August 16, 1951 Moeller Services Held Tuesday Services were held Tuesday (August 14th) at 2 p.m. for H. Wm. Moeller, 83, retired farmer who died Saturday (August 11th) morning at his home in Fremont. Rev. Victor Hoffmann officated at the service at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont and burial was in Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clarence Wittmann, Arnold Wittmann, Maynard Busch, Elden Busch, Donald Moeller and Donald Maurer. Mr. Moeller was born in Westkilver, Germany, Nov. 26, 1867. He came to America in 1884 to join his brother who was living near Hooper. He married Louise Hoegermeyer in April, 1892, and this couple lived near Ridgeley for a year and then moved to a farm near Nickerson. He was an active member in the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Winslow. They moved to their present home in Fremont in 1928. Survivors include his widow, three sons, Henry and Adolph both of Hooper and Walter of Nickerson, five daughters, Mrs. Henry Wittmann, Fremont, Mrs. Clerance Busch and Mrs. George Wolf both of Hooper, Mrs. Ervin Knoell, Ames and Mrs. Bernard Bartling, Herman, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Maschmeyer, Bruderheim, Alberta, Canada. There are also 17 grandchildren and nine great grandsons. Two brothers preceded him in death.
