Morrow, in His Usual Health, Died Within a Half Hour After Becoming Ill and Fell a Short Distance from His Home - Did Not Regain Consciousness and Died in Short Time --- Many friends and the community at large were shocked Wednesday morning by the announcement of the sudden death of HARRY W. MORROW, 418 West Lincoln Way, prominent citizen of Lisbon and resident of this vicinity all of his life. He had been in his usual health, but had complained of shortness of breath the past few days. He left home shortly before 9 o'clock to walk a short distance to the Brown home at the end of Lincoln Way, and upon arrival there became ill and was returning to his home when he fell on the street at Green Street. He was carried to his home where his death occurred a half-hour later. Death was due to heart trouble. Deceased was widely known in Lisbon. He was born on a farm in Center Township, south of Lisbon on August 9, 1864, a son of HENRY and REBECCA CLUNK MORROW and his boyhood days were spent on the farm. Later he came to Lisbon where on June 30, 1914 he was united in marriage with MISS ESTELLA BROWN, who alone survives him in the home. He is also survived by four brothers, HARVEY MORROW, of Omaha, Neb., HUGH, WILL and JOHN MORROW, of Lisbon, and three sisters, MRS. IDA CHILDS and MRS. MARY WYANT, of Cleveland and MRS. BESSIE LINDESMITH, of Dungannon. Deceased was a member of Blue Lodge, a Post Patron in the Eastern Star, member of the Knight of Pythias Lodge, a director in the Peoples Savings & Loan Co. and was secretary of the Carpenters & Joiners Union. He had been a member of the Presbyterian Church for a number of years. He was a carpenter by vocation. The funeral will take place from the home Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. J. M. Cotton, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, assisted by the Rev. J. C. Strubel, pastor of the Columbiana Church, in charge of the service. Burial will be made in the Lisbon Cemetery. The Evening Journal, Lisbon OH, Saturday 13 July 1929, front page - FUNERAL SERVICE THIS AFTERNOON - The funeral of HARRY W. MORROW whose sudden death occurred Wednesday, took place from the home on West Lincoln Way at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. The service was in charge of the Rev. J. M. Cotton, pastor of the Presbyterian Church assisted by the Rev. J. C. Strubel, of the Columbiana Presbyterian Church, former Lisbon minister. A violin solo was played during the service by GUS MEFORT, with ROY KESLER at the piano. Many beautiful floral offerings marked the esteem in which deceased was held. interment was made in the Lisbon Cemetery, the following serving as pall bearers: JOHN NOBLE, HOWARD BYE, BRUCE NEVIN, HUGH RAMSEY, A. J. SIPE, and ABRAM HARRIS.
