Herbert Charles Husman was born July 29, 1933 at Scotch Grove, Iowa. He was the son of August and Catherina Paulsen Husman. He attended the Center Junction Schools through 8th grade and graduated in May 1951 from the Monticello High School. Herbert Charles Husman was born July 29, 1933 at Scotch Grove, Iowa. He was the son of August and Catherina Paulsen Husman. He attended the Center Junction Schools through 8th grade and graduated in May 1951 from the Monticello High School. Herbert Charles Husman and Elnora Mae Schoon were married September 21, 1952 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Monticello. He worked for George C. Schoon Implement from 1951 1958, serving in the U. S. Army from Dec. 7, 1954 December 7, 1956. He was later self-employed as a Surge dealer in Wyoming, Iowa, from 1958 1962. Herbert then worked as the District and Regional Sales Manager for Cuckler Building Systems from 1962 1973 in Iowa and New York. From 1973 1996 he was regional sales manager for Brillion Iron Works and DMI, Inc. He was currently employed by Wright-Way Trailers of Hiawatha. Herbert was baptized October 8, 1933 at Scotch Grove, Iowa, he confirmed his faith on May 16, 1948 at Peace United Church of Christ, Monticello. Herb was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids, He had served as the Congregation President at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, when they lived in Red Hook, New York. He had been a member of the Wyoming Lions Club, and the Wyoming Volunteer Fire Dept. He was currently the President of Lasso-E Camper Club. Herbs hobbies included RV travel, crafting with wood and metal, and collecting farm toys.
