Description	:	Herbert Herman Geu, the son of Herman and Hulda (Woldt) Geu, was born at Wisner, Nebraska, on July 3, 1932, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on June 19, 1998, at the age of 65 years, 11 months, and 16 days. He grew up and received his education at Wisner, and graduated from Wisner High School in 1949. He served his country during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until his discharge in 1955. Read More	Herbert Herman Geu, the son of Herman and Hulda (Woldt) Geu, was born at Wisner, Nebraska, on July 3, 1932, and died at Aurora, Nebraska, on June 19, 1998, at the age of 65 years, 11 months, and 16 days. He grew up and received his education at Wisner, and graduated from Wisner High School in 1949. He served his country during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until his discharge in 1955. Following his discharge he returned to Wisner, where he was employed by the Richards Hatchery. On June 7, 1953, he was united in marriage to Virginia Schultz, at Wisner, Nebraska. Her served the mid-Nebraska area for the Aid Association for Lutherans for 20 years, and they resided in Lexington. In 1984, they moved to Aurora, where he managed the Hamilton Motor Inn until 1992, when he began employment with the Jones Agency as a real estate and insurance salesman. Herb was a member of the Aurora Messiah Lutheran Church, and had held numerous church offices. He was also a member of the Aurora Rotary Club, had been active in the Boy Scouts for 25 years, was currently serving on the Hamilton County Visitors Committee, and enjoyed playing the tuba with the Hamilton Concert Band. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harvey and Raymond; one sister Viola Moeller, and an infant brother Melvin. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife Virginia of Aurora; three sons, Charles and his wife Anne stationed in Iceland, David and his wife Cindy of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Thomas and his wife Nancy of Oceanside, California; three daughters, Teresa Haack and her husband Dale of Madison, Janet Warner and her husband and her husband Chuck of San Antonio, Texas, and Susan Margritz and her husband Pat of Lexington; one brother Elmer of Garland, and 16 grandchildren.
