Description	:	Servics for Herbert Krough, 77 Garwin, who died Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center, wil be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Estel-Perrin-Avey Funeral Home. The Rev. David Lewis of the Iowa River Church of the Berthren will officiate. Burial will be at the Green Mountian Cemetery. He was born Dec. 6, 1913 in Conrad to Fred and Anna (Wilhemi) Krough. He attended school near Conrad. On Nov. 7, 1939 he married Virginia Menter in Marshalltown and they lived there until 1977 when they moved to Garwin. H was employed by various farmers in Marshall and Tama countries.... H was employed by various farmers in Marshall and Tama countries. He retried in 1977. He served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1946. He was a member of the Iowa River Church of the Brethren, Garwin, American Legion and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Tama. Survivors include his wife, Virginia; three sons, Gilbert Krough, Fort Lauderdale Fla.; Edwin Krough, Dysart, and Scott Krough, Clutier; two daughters, Sharon (Mrs. Larry) Sommers, Green Mountian, Linda (Mrs. Ron) Simatovich, Ferguson, 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leslie and Gilbert, both of Marshalltown.
