Description	:	Herbert L. Ringler Sr. Sunday, November 15, 2015 ASHTABULA — Herbert Lee Ringler Sr., age 92, of West Ave., passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at Carington Park. He was born May 7, 1923, in Fort Hill, Pa., the son of Lewis and Anna Louise (Zimmerman) Ringler, and had been an Ashtabula resident most of his life. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Herbert worked as a maintenance man for the Ashtabula County Nursing Home prior to his retirement. Ringler Sr. Sunday, November 15, 2015 ASHTABULA — Herbert Lee Ringler Sr., age 92, of West Ave., passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at Carington Park. He was born May 7, 1923, in Fort Hill, Pa., the son of Lewis and Anna Louise (Zimmerman) Ringler, and had been an Ashtabula resident most of his life. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Herbert worked as a maintenance man for the Ashtabula County Nursing Home prior to his retirement. He previously worked at Montgomery Ward, Stroh's Brewery (as a truck driver), and for Child's Motors. He loved hunting, fishing, western movies, collecting coins, and old cars and he was always comforted by his favorite prayer, the 23rd Psalm. His survivors include eight children, 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one sister, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yolanda (Como) Ringler; his son, Herbert Lee Ringler Jr. on July 29, 2015; a granddaughter, Tasia Hinson; one sister, Faye Jean Olin; four brothers, Harvey Ray Ringler, David Floyd Ringler, and Ernest H. and Elwood J. Ringler, both in infancy; and his parents. A Graveside Service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 16th, at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, Carpenter Road, Ashtabula. Pastor Ben Curry, Chaplain for Tridia Hospice, will officiate. Burial will follow with Full Military Honors. Contributions may be made to DUCRO FUNERAL SERVICES AND CREMATORY, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula who is in charge of arrangements. Obituary at www.ducro.com and starbeacon.com.
