Herb loved gardening, mushroom hunting, and hunting pheasant and deer with his nephews and great nephews. Herb was a very giving person, to his sister, nephews and nieces, and anyone who needed help. Herbert Jennings, 73, formerly of Liscomb, passed away on Thursday; March 8, 2007, at his home in Marshalltown; Marshall County, Iowa. Those left to mourn his passing are his sister: Mrs. Marvin (Nancy) Doran of Liscomb; Eleven nieces and nephews: Roy and Allen Doran of Melbourne, Steve Doran of Beaman, Cindy Durin of Conrad, Annette Koch of Granger, Iowa; Larry and Bobby Jennings of Shelton, Washington County, Iowa. Mary Jane Dittmer of Newton; Jasper County, Iowa. Becky Jennings of Las Vegas; Las Vegas County, Nevada. Shannon Esparza of Toledo, Ohio and Scarlet Jennings of San Diego; San Diego County, California. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers; Bob and Larry Jennings. May they rest in peace. Visitation will be on Sunday; March 11, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will be present to greet friends.
