Born November 23, 1928, in Jonesville, SC, son of the late Harry G. and Pauline G. Foster; husband of Mary Kathryn Hodge Mason Foster; first married to the late Elizabeth Ann Foster. Read More	Herbert Theron “Sam” Foster, 76, died Wednesday, February 16, 2005, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born November 23, 1928, in Jonesville, SC, son of the late Harry G. and Pauline G. Foster; husband of Mary Kathryn Hodge Mason Foster; first married to the late Elizabeth Ann Foster. A retired distributor of Little Debbie products for McKee Foods, and a member of Southside Baptist Church; actively involved in numerous fraternal organizations; a longtime member of St. John’s Masonic Lodge 333 where he served as a Master Mason; earned his 32nd degree as a Scottish Rite Mason and was a Hejaz Shriner in Greenville, SC. He then joined the Spartanburg Shrine Club where he served as a Board Member, President, and Charter member of the past presidents unit. He also served as Area B representative of Hejaz, Chief Executive Aide, Captain of Hejaz Sportsmen, member of the Greenville unit Royal Order of Jesters, and was recently re-elected to the Spartanburg Shrine Club Board of Directors. Also surviving are three sons, Mark Foster (Donna), Dan Foster (Martha), and Gregg Foster; two stepsons, Ken Mason (Trina) and Chip Mason; and eight grandchildren. Predeceased by a son, Sammy Foster. Visitation at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel. Memorial service held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, February 19, 2005, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel.
