Todd was born July 8, 1961, in Hamilton to Robert Berry and DeLis Berry. Todd grew up and attended school in Darby and went to college in Coeur d'Alene. Todd married the love of his life, Crystal Richards, on May 11, 1985. They have three beautiful children, Tyson, 25, Shandi, 22, and Riley, 19. Todd was a good provider for his family and a loving husband and father. He passed down to his children his love of hunting, fishing, water skiing, snow skiing and camping. He was a three-time state champion wrestler in high school and made it to the Olympic trials when he was 17 years old. Todd also received a scholarship to wrestle in college. He loved coaching and passing on his knowledge of the sport to his own boys and local kids. Todd helped his dad build houses for many years, worked in the Cyprus Mine in Challis, Idaho, and then was a lineman for NorthWestern Energy for 18 years. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and his greatest hope was that through his battle with cancer other people would see Christ in him and come to know Jesus as their own personal Lord and Savior. Todd's love of the Lord was an inspiration to many. He was always willing to help others in their time of need. Todd was preceded in death by his father Bob Berry. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Crystal; his sons Tyson and Riley; daughter Shandi and son-in-law Mike Alberda, all of Bozeman; his mother DeLis Berry of Darby; brothers, Joe (Ruby) Berry of Corvallis, Doug Berry of Corvallis, Rex (Luanne) Berry of Challis and sister Julie Brown of North Pole, Alaska; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. We will all miss him so much and await that wonderful day when we will be reunited with him in heaven. A celebration of Todd's life will be held at The Bridge in Belgrade, 608 Jackrabbit Lane (formerly known as Belgrade Baptist Church) at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 10, with a reception following. A second celebration will be held at First Baptist Church in Hamilton, 354 Cooper Lane, on Friday, May 11, at 3 p.m. Graveside services will follow at the Lone Pine Cemetery in Darby with a reception following at First Baptist Church in Hamilton.
