| Description | : | Herman Eugene "Gene" Grogg, Harrisonburg, died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at his home. Mr. Grogg was born in Sugar Grove, W.Va., and was a son of the late Early and Edna Smith Grogg. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer Senior Grade for 21 years before retiring. He was a supervisor at Merck and Company until retiring in 1992. On July 12, 1973, he married Cornelia Justice, who survives.
