The deceased was born on a farm in Clinton County to Fred and Marie Petersen Sieveka, on November 30, 1872. When he was six the family moved to Madison Township, Jones County, and the rest of his life was spent there. He had lived on and operated his farm about four miles west and south of Wyoming for the past 56 years. In 1900 he was married to Miss Mary Schmalfeldt of near Wyoming. Two children were born: Peter of Olin and Helma, now Mrs. Rudolph Bostel of LaGrange, Ill. Mrs. Sieveka died in 1929. He is survived by his son and daughter: one grandchild: two sisters, Mrs. Fred Krutzfield and Mrs. Roy Overley of Wyoming; and two brothers, Edwin Sieveka of amber and Ernest Sieveka of Wyoming. Two sisters preceded him in death. Relatives attending from a distance included Mr. and Mr. Rudolph Botel of LaGrange, Ill.; Rudy Botel, Champaign, Ill.; Peter Jansen, Rockford, IA; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lorenzen, Roxanna and Harry Claussen, all of Bryant; and others from Center Junction, amber, Onslow, Olin and Oxford Junction.
