Mrs. Keithline was born Aug. 1928, in Hawthorne, N. J., to G. and Hermina B. Klooster) Van Hillo. She was a graduate of Fitchburg School in Fitchburg, and attended the New Deaconess Hospital, she graduated as a registered nurse in 1950. She then to Los Angeles, Calif. She married James Keithline on Aug. 14, 1954, in Las Nev. Having moved to Colorado in 1973, she worked at the Fort Morgan Community Hospital until her retirement in 1994. She also worked as a nurse in Massachusetts, Kansas and California. They moved from Fort Morgan to Windsor in 1996. She became an active member of the Weld County Genealogy Society, being named Genealogist of the Year for 2004-05. She loved volunteering her time at the LDS library and Weld County Library in the genealogy department and would talk to anyone about genealogy. She was also a member of the Weld County Questers group. Survivors include her sons, James Keithline Jr. of Tulsa, Okla., Theodore Keithline of Boise, Idaho, and Kenneth Keithline of Longmont; daughters, Johanna Habayeb of Greeley, Patricia Osborn of Windsor, Elizabeth Keithline of Charlotte, N. C., and Debra Sublett of Wichita, Kan.; a brother, Jacob Van Hillo of Windsor; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James, Sr.; a brother John; and her great-granddaughter, Abigail Waldron. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Allnutt Funeral Service - Macy Chapel. Interment will be held at Loveland Burial Park. Memorials may be made to a local blood bank, MDA, Mitchochondrial Foundation, Brain Injury Association, Stout Street Foundation of Commerce City or American Cancer Society in care of Allnutt, 702 13th St., Greeley, CO 80631.
