Description	:	HOLTON - Hervey S. Little, Jr., 82, of Holton, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born December 19, 1925 at Holton, the son of Hervey and Lillian Ely Little. He attended Hazel Grove Country School and graduated from Wetmore High School in the class of 1943. Hervey served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the City of Holton, starting in 1959 in the Distribution Department, then worked in the Street & Alley Department, serving as superintendent. He worked for the City a total of twenty nine years, retiring... Read More	HOLTON - Hervey S. Little, Jr., 82, of Holton, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born December 19, 1925 at Holton, the son of Hervey and Lillian Ely Little. He attended Hazel Grove Country School and graduated from Wetmore High School in the class of 1943. Hervey served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the City of Holton, starting in 1959 in the Distribution Department, then worked in the Street & Alley Department, serving as superintendent. He worked for the City a total of twenty nine years, retiring in 1988. He also was a farmer and a stockman. Hervey was a member of the Evangel United Methodist Church in Holton. He married Marzine Argo October 1, 1958 in Topeka. She died November 29, 2001. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Mervin Little and a sister, Dorothy Little. Survivors include a son, Lesley Little and wife Joan, Holton; a daughter, Kathy L. Mick and husband, Terry, Holton; five grandchildren, Kristel & Tara Mick, and Kaitlynn, Faith, and Daniel Little. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in the Holton Cemetery.
