Moore Passes Away Following a Month's Illness Mrs. Hester J. Moore, wife of E. L Moore passed away Friday evening at 7:10 o'clock at her home on Washington Street following a four weeks illness. Mrs. Moore's condition had been critical for several days and practically no hope had been held for her recovery. She was 46 years old, September 19. Mrs. Moore was born and reared in Clarence. Following her marriage June 25, 1911 to E. L. Moore also of Clarence, she and Mr. Moore made their home in Montana for over eleven years. Before coming to Macon they were residents of Vandalia for the past ten years. Mr. Moore is in the electric shoe repair business and moved his business from Vandalia to Macon a year ago last August. During the short time the family has lived in Macon they have made for themselves a wide circle of friends. Surviving are her husband, three children, Carl, Luella and Leland, all of the home, her mother, Mrs. J. W Thompson who makes her home with them, and a brother, C. V. Moss of West Branch, Mich., who arrived in Macon last night. There are a number of other relatives and a host of friends. Her body will be taken from the Stephens & Goodding Funeral Home this evening to the residence on Washington Street. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Pearl Street Methodist church of which she was an active and devoted member. Her pastor, the Rev. C A.
