Description	:	Mrs. Hester Martin McGinnis, 101, of 256 McGinnis Road, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, November 10, 2018 at her residence. She was the widow of the late Bassee L. McGinnis (B.L.) and the daughter of the late, Greene & Corrie Martin. She was a lifelong member of New Pleasant Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and she sang in the choir. She is survived by a niece, Norma Bridges of Cowpens, great-nephew, Brad Bridges of Gaffney, a great-niece, Amy Bridges of Cowpens, also by four grandchildren and by a number of nephews and... She is survived by a niece, Norma Bridges of Cowpens, great-nephew, Brad Bridges of Gaffney, a great-niece, Amy Bridges of Cowpens, also by four grandchildren and by a number of nephews and nieces and a special caregiver, Sandy Coggins. Funeral services will be held, 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Eggers Funeral Chapel of Chesnee, officiated by the Rev. Glen Rusher and Rev. Rex Keaton. Entombment will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
