Description	:	HETTIE OLETA WRIGHT SANDERS, 88, of Rt. 4, Union died Friday afternoon December 3rd at 1:10 at the Wallace Thompson Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Union County December 8, 1878, she was a daughter of the late Farrow and Sally Wright. Mrs. Sanders was a member of the Mon-Aetna Baptist Church. Her husband was the late Giles Sanders. Born in Union County December 8, 1878, she was a daughter of the late Farrow and Sally Wright. Mrs. Sanders was a member of the Mon-Aetna Baptist Church. Her husband was the late Giles Sanders. Surviving are seven daughters; Mrs. Claude Adams of Kelton, Mrs. A. W. Cooper and Mrs. J. C. Worthy both of Gaffney, Mrs. Thomas Chalk of Joanna, Mrs. Frank Shetley, Mrs. Forrest Howell and Mrs. William Dill all of Union; four sons: Harvey of Charlotte, N. C.; Roy and James Sanders both of Clinton and Sidney "Dan" Sanders of Union; one sister: Mrs. Eddie Ponder of Forrest City, N. C. and one brother: J. D. Wright of Rt. 5, Union and also 29 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:00 at the Mon-Aetna Baptist Church by the Rev. S. L. Lamm, Rev. J. B. Abercrombie, and Rev. Richard Covington. Interment will be in the Mt. Joy Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Henry, Wiley and Jack Sanders, J. C. Wright, Hoyle Ponder and Guy Kirby. The body will be at the home of her son, Dan Sanders, Monarch after 5:00 this afternoon and will be placed in church at 2:00 p.m. Sunday to await the hour of service. The S. R. Holcombe Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
