Born Feb. 19, 1918, in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Alice Brandenburg Adkins. She was the wife of the late Ray Thomas Wiles. She was an active member of the Evangelical Reformed Church United Church of Christ in Frederick and was active in the Frederick Moose. She was formerly employed with the Frederick County Board of Education in a school cafeteria. Following retirement she enjoyed taking care of her great-grandsons every day.
