In addition to her husband, Elise was preceded in death by her parents and 1 daughters, Cora Siefker. Visitation was held after 8 p.m. on 31 Jul 1947 at the T. E. Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville, Missouri. Visitation was continued from noon the following day until the beginning of funeral services at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Evangelical Church in Defiance.
