Description	:	Hilda Gray Howell Beal, 89, of Cary, died peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2020. She was born in Apex on February 18, 1930 to Henry Howell and Alline Siler Howell. She was a devoted and beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. Hilda was predeceased by her parents and five brothers, Robert, Thurman, Sherwood, Dalton, Sterling, and one sister Hazel Reams. Surviving are two sons, Duane (Besty) and David Beal; two granddaughters, Megan Carmona (Justin) Melissa Mallard (James); two great grandchildren, Mya Grace Mallard and Silas Carmona. Hilda retired from Wake Med Cary Hospital with 16 years of service. She loved all types of sports especially ACC college basketball. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 1821 N. Salem Church Rd, Apex, NC 27523.
