Lauderdale Home Body To Be Returned To Hagerstown For Memorial Services HAGERSTOWN - Word was received here today of the death of Hilda Jessup Teetor, wife of Lothair Teetor, former state legislator and chairman of the board of Perfect Circle Corporation. Hilda died at the Teetor's Ft. Lauderdale, FL home. The body will be returned to Hagerstown for interment in the family mausoleum in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery, west of Hagerstown. Memorial services will be announced later. The family requested that friends do not send flowers. Hilda, an ardent golfer, was a member of the Hartley Hills Country Club, the Psi Iota Xi and Delta Gamma sororities and the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Hagerstown. She was born in Anderson, IN on August 4, 1898, the daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester M. Jessup, who in later years resided in CA. After graduation from Principia in St. Louis, MO, she attended Indiana University and the University of Wisconsin. Besides her husband, Lothair, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Wallace J. Stenhouse of Chicago; two sons: Charles and Ben Teetor, both of Richmond; a grandson, Stephen; a brother, Hubert Jessup of San Francisco, CA; and two sisters: Mrs. Frank Searle of Upland, CA and Mrs. Jerry Albright of Raleigh, NC. Published August 4, 1953 - The Courier Times, New Castle, IN Rites Scheduled Friday Afternoon For Mrs. Teetor Memorial services for Hilda Jessup Teetor, age 54, who died Sunday night, at her home, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Teetor residence, in Hagerstown. Christian Science memorial services will be conducted by Miss Marjorie Davenport of Richmond. The family requested friends not to send flowers. Hilda's husband, Edison Lothair Teetor, former State Representative from Wayne County and chairman of the board of Perfect Circle Corporation and her daughter, Mrs. Barbara (Wallace J.) Stenhouse, of Chicago were with Hilda at the time of her death. The body will be returned by plane via Cincinnati, OH with private interment in the family mausoleum in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Hagerstown.
