Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Cascade, with the Rev. Daniel Krapfl officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cascade. She received her education in the Cascade schools. On June 1, 1943, she married LeRoy McDermott at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cascade; he preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1959. She was a member of St. Matthias Parish, Cascade, and its altar and rosary society, and was also a member of the Daisy Card Club of Cascade. Surviving are two sons, David J. McDermott, of Cascade, and Ronald (Peg) McDermott, of Coal Valley, Ill.; two daughters, Edna (Dan) Gabelman, of Ravenna, Ohio, and Eileen (David) Doerring, of Seattle; a son-in-law, Richard (Joyce) Noonan, of Houston; eight grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Marian (Donald) Kearney, of Key West, Francis (Laurabelle) Knepper, of Cascade, Odelia (Vernon) Doden, of Monticello, Monica Oyen, of Phoenix, Ariz., Norbert (Mary Lou) Knepper, of Toddville, Cyril (Maureen) Knepper, of Marion, and Josephine Neville, of Anamosa; and three sisters-in-law, Harriet Knepper and Mag (Ray) Kurt, both of Cascade, and Marien McDermott, of Epworth. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Denise M. Noonan on January 3, 1996; two brothers, Arnold Knepper and Ambrose "Sam" Knepper; and sister and brothers-in-law, Alice Davis, Loras McDermott and Calvin "James" McDermott. A Hilda M.
