Description	:	Hilda Hedger, 88, of Loveland, died Dec. 16, 2001, at the Berthoud Living Center in Berthoud. Mrs. Hedger was born Nov. 26, 1913, in Dodge, N.D., to Jacob and Wilhelmina Ziegler. She grew up farming and ranching in the Midwest. She married Nathaniel Dale Hedger in Golden Valley, N.D., on July 14, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was the mother of six children. Mrs. Hedger was born Nov. 26, 1913, in Dodge, N.D., to Jacob and Wilhelmina Ziegler. She grew up farming and ranching in the Midwest. She married Nathaniel Dale Hedger in Golden Valley, N.D., on July 14, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was the mother of six children. The Hedgers moved to Colorado in the early 1960s and lived in several Front Range cities, including Longmont, Berthoud and Loveland. Mrs. Hedger loved to cook and worked as a cook at the Peaks Care Center in Longmont until retiring. She also liked to bake, can foods and tend her garden. She volunteered at the Outreach Center for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Loveland. Mrs. Hedger is survived by her sons, Rocky, Bill and Ken Hedger, all of Loveland, Bob Hedger of Evans and Orval Hedger of Longmont; one daughter, Marion Anderson of Loveland; five sisters, Lydia Shield and Lenora Puzio, both of Billings, Mont., Lorraine Bauman and Minnie Miller, both of Sidney, Mont., and Esther Borgan of Wolf Point, Mont.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and a grandson. Cremation is planned, and a memorial service bill be at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 5 at Grace Place in Berthoud. The Rev. Clay Peck will officiate. Goes Funeral Care of Fort Collins, 482-2221, is in charge of arrangements.
