The remains of Hiram Frank, a veteran of the 11th Iowa, were brought here Tuesday from Beatrice, Neb., where his death occurred last Sunday. The interment was in the Sheldon cemetery, east of Tipton, in the neighborhood where Mr. Frank lived when a resident of this community. The remains of Hiram Frank, a veteran of the 11th Iowa, were brought here Tuesday from Beatrice, Neb., where his death occurred last Sunday. The interment was in the Sheldon cemetery, east of Tipton, in the neighborhood where Mr. Frank lived when a resident of this community. Mr. Frank was born in New York in 1818 and came to this county before the war. He enlisted in Co. E, 11th Iowa and served with the Army of the Tennessee through the war. He left here about thirty years ago and settled in Nebraska. He is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. J. P. Beck and Mrs. E. A. Gilbert of Beatrice, Neb., and J. W. Frank of California.
