He was born in Burlington Feb. 23, 1918, the son of Lloyd and Myrtle (Sibley) Shorey. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nettie (Howard) Shorey; four daughters, Mrs. Annette Noyes, Mrs. Gloria Harvey, Mrs. Colleen Campbell and Mrs. Susan Dilmore; one son, Donald; three brothers, Howard, Norman and Floyd; 16 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one half brother, David Thompson; two half sisters, Mrs. Helen Page and Mrs. Doris Ealey. Funeral services will be held in the Stetson Memorial Methodist Church, Patten, 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Perley O'Dell officiating. Friends may call at the Bowers Funeral Home, Patten, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Patten Cemetery. Friends who wish may donate to there favorite charity.
