She was born March 19, 1978 in Columbia City, Indiana a daughter of James K. Western and Sindy S. Wall. Her formative years were spent in Thorncreek Township. They... Read More	Holly H. Fry, 40, of Columbia City died at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center where she had been a patient for the past several days. She was born March 19, 1978 in Columbia City, Indiana a daughter of James K. Western and Sindy S. Wall. Her formative years were spent in Thorncreek Township. She graduated from Columbia City High School in 1996. She continued her education at Ivy Tech, Fort Wayne becoming a phlebotomist. On August 19, 2000 she was united in marriage to Chad Eugene Fry. They have always made their home in rural Columbia City. Most recently, she traveled throughout the area as an independent contractor for several clinical laboratories doing blood draws. Prior, she worked for Dr. Moshref in Waynedale. She had worked as a cook at the Northern Height Elementary School and a phlebotomist at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was an avid Green Bay Packers’ fan and enjoyed following her team. She loved to travel; especially anywhere there was an ocean beach. The Caribbean beaches were among her favorites. She meticulously documented her travels with photo albums and scrapbooks. She was especially proud and loving of her family. She is survived by her husband, Chad; their two children, Connor Myles Fry and Peyton Renee Fry, both at home; her mother, Sindy Blaugh, Columbia City; her grandmother, Marilyn Wall and a sister, Ashley Maynard, Avon. She was preceded in death by her father, James Western. The funeral service is 8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the family.
