Description	:	Homer Boyd Brickles, 65, resident of 302 Mt. Vernon Road, died this morning in St. Francis hospital, Columbus, of complications resulting from a diabetic condition and injuries. Mr. and Mrs. Brickles had been spending some time in the home of their daughter, Mrs. Hazel Haynes in Columbus, and about two months ago Mr. Brickles was injured when he was struck by an automobile while walking. Read More	Homer Boyd Brickles, 65, resident of 302 Mt. Vernon Road, died this morning in St. Francis hospital, Columbus, of complications resulting from a diabetic condition and injuries. Mr. and Mrs. Brickles had been spending some time in the home of their daughter, Mrs. Hazel Haynes in Columbus, and about two months ago Mr. Brickles was injured when he was struck by an automobile while walking. He suffered a broken shoulder and body bruises. Due to the diabetes the bruises on his legs became infected and a few days ago he underwent an operation for the amputation of his right leg above the knee. Since hhen his condition had been serious. He was born in Barnesville, the son of Winfield and Cassie Brickles. He had lived in Newark the greater part of his life and years ago operated a saloon business in North Fourth Street. Later he was associated with groceries here and in Utica. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Carrie Brickles; a son Harold and a daughter, Mrs. Haynes of Columbus and a granddaughter; also four brothers, William of Utica, Harry of Granville, Thomas of Akron and Emery Brickles of Newark. The body was received at the McCament funeral home and will remain there. Funeral services will be held there Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. S. B.
