Description	:	Obituary. Homer Jacob Waggoner was born March 4, 1886, at Tingley, Iowa, and died June 7, 1926, at his home near Ellston, Iowa, aged 40 years, three months and three days. On March 27, 1907, he was united in marriage with Bernice Noble, to which union were born seven children. Three of these children preceded their father to the better world. Homer Jacob Waggoner was born March 4, 1886, at Tingley, Iowa, and died June 7, 1926, at his home near Ellston, Iowa, aged 40 years, three months and three days. On March 27, 1907, he was united in marriage with Bernice Noble, to which union were born seven children. Three of these children preceded their father to the better world. Wilma, Marvin J. and Mildred Irene. The last named died at the age of thirteen years. Aldon, Neva, Lillie and Lena survive. He also leaves a wife, a mother and one brother, Rolla, of Ellston, all of whom were present at the time of his death. The funeral was held at the home northeast of town Wednesday forenoon where a large number gathered to listen to the sermon which was delivered by Rev. K. E. Nesbit and the favorite hymns chosen by the family were sung. At the close of these services the remains were followed by a large number of the sympathizing friends and neighbors to the Ellston cemetery, where interment took place. (The obituary is clearly in error as to his place of interment, an issue I have seen before.)
