On August 17, 1943, she married Carl Olsen at Winnegao, Nebraska. One child was born to them, Edward in 1947. Hope lived in Oakdale, NE, Winner, SD, Long Pine, NE, Hartington, NE. She ran the café in Creighton from 1948 until 1966 and then worked at J.C. Penney Company from 1966 until 1983 in Fremont, NE. In 1983, Hope retired and returned to Creighton. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton. Hope enjoyed playing cards and reading. Hope is survived by: son, Edward and his wife Karen Olsen of Charles City, Iowa; grandchild, Kirsten Olsen; and great grandchildren, Jeffrey and Serena Gallmeyer. Hope was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one brother. Inurnment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery at Norfolk.
