Description	:	Horace Dock "Red" Wyatt, 83, of Inman, SC, died on Sunday, August 22, 2004, at his residence. He was the widower of Dorothy (Black) Wyatt, who died in 2003. Mr. Wyatt was a native of Spartanburg County, and was a son of the late Ned Wyatt and Ossie (Parris) Wyatt Stepp. His step-father, Sam Stepp, reared him. Read More	Horace Dock "Red" Wyatt, 83, of Inman, SC, died on Sunday, August 22, 2004, at his residence. He was the widower of Dorothy (Black) Wyatt, who died in 2003. Mr. Wyatt was a native of Spartanburg County, and was a son of the late Ned Wyatt and Ossie (Parris) Wyatt Stepp. His step-father, Sam Stepp, reared him. He was retired from Taylor-Piedmont and was a member of Green Point Baptist Church. He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Johnny Emery, Martha and David Davis, Mary and Jerry Gibson, and Nancy and Claude Pruitt, all of Inman; brothers, Joe Wyatt of Inman, Billy Stepp of Boiling Springs, and Gene Stepp of Spartanburg; eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren. The family received friends at the home of a daughter, Martha Davis, 481 Rock Hill Church Road, on Tuesday, August 24, 2004, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. The body was in the home after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2004, at Green Point Baptist Church. Rev. David Lancaster and Mr. Ernest Shook will officiate. The body lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment was in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Richard Bradley, David Johnson, Scott Smith, Thomas Clayton, Kevin Westbrook, and Robert Willard.
