Description	:	Hortense Elizabeth Wood Roddy, 72, of 18 Ninth St., died Nov. 7, 2003, at Allen Bennett Hospital. A native of Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late Bryson E. and Viola Smith Wood, she was a retired employee of Stedor Enterprises and a member of Pelham Church of God of Prophecy. Ms. Roddy was predeceased by two brothers; two sisters; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by the Rev. Brian King and the Rev. Danny Monroe. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home.
