Description	:	Houston Huitt Chesnee, SC Mr. Houston C. Huitt, 81, of Chesnee, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 15, 2015. A native of Spartanburg County, he was the widower of Frances West Huitt and the son of the late Clayton Huitt and Valley Meadows Huitt. He retired from Spartanburg Water Works and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed doing yard work and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Brenda Kay Henderson and Kathy Lynn Adams, one grandson, David Corey Hughes. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 12:00 pm until 1:00pm at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee. Graveside services will immediately follow at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Moore, SC with Rev. Bob Buhl officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interim Healthcare Hospice, 155 Deacon Tiller Court, Duncan, SC 29334. The family will be at the residence.
