Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Hal Pearson of Walnut Park Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. On April 18, 1942, he married Ruth Fern Grothe in Kahoka, Mo. Mr. Yerington was a member of Walnut Park Baptist church. He served in the U.S. Air Force for three and one-half years. He worked for the Muscatine Street Department for 31 years. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; three daughters, Darla and her husband Del Meyer, Karen Hill, and Lisa and her husband David Cunningham, all of Muscatine; two brothrs, Charles of Davenport, and Don of Muscatine, one sister, Janet Hamiel of Tipton; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Jerri Ann Day; one grandson, Timothy Arthur Hill; one sister, Mildred Witmer; and two brothrs, Harry and Vernon Yerington MUSCATINE JOURNAL APRIL 24, 1995
