Born in Plymouth, Yarmouth Co., he was a son of the late Hugh and Jane (Bond) Cottreau. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, past member of the Digby Town Council and Digby Volunteer Fire Department. He owned and operated Fashion Cleaners for many years and was an avid bingo player. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was predeceased by sister, Marie; brother, Edward in infancy. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m. today in Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Rev. Keith Billard officiating. Interment in Madonna Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Digby General Hospital.
