Description	:	Son of Peter Christian Farni and Virginia "Jennie" O'Neil. He worked with the Peoria T.P. and W. Railroad, and later started with the Chicago Northwestern, which brought him to Iowa. Howard Farni married Emma Larson on July 12, 1916, in Nevada at the Lutheran Parsonage. The couple farmed in the Nevada area for 19 years, and the Zearing area for 24 years, until retiring in 1959.
