Alvin Cox, Independence; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and four sisters, Eula Osborne and June Moxley, Independence, Pauline Carico, Galax, Ruby Rose, Bel Air, Md. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 1995, in the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Sandy Hendrick and the Rev. Fred E. Jennings officiating. Interment with military rites by Grayson County V.F.W. Post #7726 will be in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Flowers will be appreciated, or memorial contributions may be made to Independence Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 607, Independence, Va. 24348 or to Independence Volunteer Fire Department, P. O.
