| Description | : | Howard Evert Swihart was the son of Joseph Swihart and Samantha Dirck who were married October 5, 1907. Howard grew up on his parents farm in Kosciusko Co near Silver Lake. On Dec 31, 1935 at Nappanee, Indiana, Howard Evert Swihart and Beulah May Scott/Leininger were united in marriage. They made their home in Silver Lake where they lived all their married life. Although they had no children of their own they were very close to Beaulah's sister's family; Robert and Memory (Leininger) Cripe and their 9 children. They regularly attended church every Sunday.
