Description	:	Howard F Crumley, 52, of 1917 N. Columbus St., died Saturday evening, October 22, 1977, of a sudden and unexpected cardiac event, at the residence. A member of First United Methodist Church, he was a salesman for McCune Tractor company, and was formerly associated with the farm machinery finance industry. Howard was born on January 22, 1925, on Crumley Road in Hocking Township, to Russel L. and Eliza Calvert Crumley, who precede him in death. In April of 1948, he married Joan Reese, who survives him. Columbus St., died Saturday evening, October 22, 1977, of a sudden and unexpected cardiac event, at the residence. A member of First United Methodist Church, he was a salesman for McCune Tractor company, and was formerly associated with the farm machinery finance industry. Howard was born on January 22, 1925, on Crumley Road in Hocking Township, to Russel L. and Eliza Calvert Crumley, who precede him in death. In April of 1948, he married Joan Reese, who survives him. Howard greatly enjoyed fishing, baseball, and football. He was a Little League baseball coach for several years in the 60's. He loved spending time with his family, and the family was gathering for dinner at his home at the time of his death. In addition to his wife of 29 years, Joan, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Donna and Don Woker of Columbus; his son and daughter-in-law, K. Michael and Cynthia Rouse Crumley, of Springfield; his grandchild, Amy Dianne Crumley; and his mother-in-law Opal M. Reese. Howard is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Gladys Crumley of Columbus as well as brothers-in law and sisters-in-law, Howard and Norma Lee Lawwell, of Reynoldsburg, and Donald and Betty Reese of Lancaster. In addition, Howard will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all in Ohio, and many lifelong friends here in Fairfield County and throughout the state. Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct 25, in the chapel of Frank E. Smith funeral Home, Rev. Walter Plummer officiating., followed by burial at Green Mound Cemetery, west of Lancaster, on Crumley Road. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. The family suggest that memorial gifts be made to the Fairfield County Chapter of the American Heart Association.
