Wehrbein, 52, of Lincoln died in a Lincoln hospital on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Survivors include his mother, Carol (CJ) Wehrbein of Beatrice; one sister, Judy Weyers and special friend Dwane Landon of Beatrice; two nieces, Jill Sasse and husband Brian and Amy Heideman and two nephews, Craig Weyers and wife Ashley and Brian Weyers and his wife Chanae; 11 great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Wehrbein, who died June 13, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Pastor Kathee Forrest officiating. Burial will be in the Lewiston Cemetery. A family prayer service will be held at 9:45 A.M. at the church on Saturday. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Friday with the family meeting and greeting friends and relatives from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. that evening.
