Howard Leslie Badger was the son of Harold and Bertha Johnson Badger. He was raised in Tama, Iowa and attended public schools. Read More	Howard Badger age 93 of Fort Dodge, Iowa died on Thursday at the Bickford Cottages in Fort Dodge. Interment in the Ivy Hill Cemetery north of Malcom, Iowa. Howard Leslie Badger was the son of Harold and Bertha Johnson Badger. He was raised in Tama, Iowa and attended public schools. Following his education he served with the Army Air Corp during WW II in Italy. He was married to Edna Baltisberger on June 4, 1945 in Montezuma, Iowa. They were the parents of Irlene, Irvy and Scott They farmed near Malcom and later moved to a farm near Des Moines, Iowa. From 1964 to 1969, he managed the FELCO research farm in Fort Dodge. They moved to Roland and he worked in sales for the Roland Elevator until his retirement in 1984. Following their retirement, they lived on their farm near Malcom, where they loved to display outdoor Christmas lights. In 2010, they moved to Badger and later to Bickford Cottages in Fort Dodge. Howard enjoyed gardening, camping and wintering in Texas. As a veteran of WW II he especially enjoyed the "Honor Trip" to Washington D C to view various war memorials.
