He was born on February 9, 1931 in Hewett, West Virginia to John and Myrtle Barker Dent and moved to Florida twenty-one years ago from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Interment will be made at a later date at the Dent Family Cemetery in Hewett. Memorials of remembrance may be made to The Groves Center 512 South 11th Street, Lake Wales, FL 33853.
