Description	:	Howard Whaley Sanderson was born on May 21st, 1941 in White Salmon, Wa. At the age of 9 months he lost his father in a car accident. He was the oldest boy of seven children. As a teenager, on several occasions Howard road his bike from Portland to White Salmon to visit his aunts. He often reminisced about those summers. Read More	Howard Whaley Sanderson was born on May 21st, 1941 in White Salmon, Wa. At the age of 9 months he lost his father in a car accident. He was the oldest boy of seven children. As a teenager, on several occasions Howard road his bike from Portland to White Salmon to visit his aunts. He often reminisced about those summers. After high school he fell in love with Joy Muters and they married on April 6, 1962. Howard and Joy settled in St. Johns and started their family soon after. The family attended the St. John's Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. After being baptized on January 31st, 1970 he was soon appointed a ministerial servant in the congregation. He was a kind and generous man, who had a very warm and approachable personality. Howard worked his entire life in construction and had a reputation for being a very hard worker, as well. He never met a stranger. Howard enjoyed singing to and with his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted and loving Son, Brother, Husband, Father, Grandfather. Howard was proceded in death by his father Everett, his three sisters Charlene, Penny, Emmy, brother Otto and grandson Jadin. Howard is survived by his mother Jennie, his wife Joy, his children Kathleen and John Cochran, Laurie and Perry Rosa, Dawn and Everett Sanderson, Clarissa and Chris Orlich, Danielle and Justin Sanderson, 13 grandchildren, and brothers Art and John.
