Description	:	Hubert McCall was the son of William and Jane (Craddock) McCall. He came with his parents to Grant County in 1887. The History of Grant County published in 1982, page 374, gives the following information. Hubert grew to manhood in Grant County working as a cowboy and later becoming foreman of the HK Ranch. He was deputy sheriff, served an unexpired term as Probate Judge, was one of the incorporators of the Grant County State Bank in 1906, and served as the cashier of the bank. He was Register of Deeds prior to forming his own business in 1912. On 6 April 1920, he married S. Louise Buckmaster, the widow of Rueben E. Buckmaster.
