Description	:	Hugh Robinson was born March 17, 1827 (headstone incorrect) and died March 11, 1892. He was the son of Hugh Robinson and Morning Bates. He married Unity Jane Baxter on April 18, 1850 in Jackson County, Florida. Note: Hugh's father was the first Robinson to settle in Jackson County. He cultivated more than five acres of land before Spain surrendered possession in 1821. Perhaps one of his siblings was the first white child born in Jackson County, Florida.
