Description	:	Hulda Ruth Ensminger, 102, of Boswell, died Thursday, December 29, 2011, at IU Health, Lafayette. She was born December 13, 1909, in Bloomfield, Iowa, to the late Henry and Eva Trachsel. She married James Everett Ensminger, December 24, 1929, in Pulaski, Iowa; he died April 7, 1997. She graduated from Troy High School in 1927 and went to College at Iowa State Teacher's College at Cedar Falls, Iowa. She taught school for 6 years. Read More	Hulda Ruth Ensminger, 102, of Boswell, died Thursday, December 29, 2011, at IU Health, Lafayette. She was born December 13, 1909, in Bloomfield, Iowa, to the late Henry and Eva Trachsel. She married James Everett Ensminger, December 24, 1929, in Pulaski, Iowa; he died April 7, 1997. She graduated from Troy High School in 1927 and went to College at Iowa State Teacher's College at Cedar Falls, Iowa. She taught school for 6 years. She and her husband farmed in Troy, Iowa, Pleasant Lawn, Iowa, LeRoy, IL, Freeland Park and Fowler, Indiana. They owned and operated the Boswell Motel at Boswell, IN for over 29 years. Ruth was a lifetime active member of the Boswell Church of Christ where she played the organ. She was a member of the Benton County Chorus for 50 years and the Parish Grove Home Economics Club. She was a lifetime friend and supporter of Lincoln Christian University in Lincoln, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters: Dora and Flora Hendricks and six brothers: Gifford Hargrove, Herman Trachsel, Ray Trachsel, Merle Trachsel, Earl Trachsel and Paul Trachsel. She is survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces in Iowa. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2012, from 1:00 until time of Funeral Service at 2:30 PM, at the Boswell Church of Christ. Burial will take place at Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton, Iowa.
