Mr. Malone was born on May 24, 1925, in Ball, LA and passed away on August 12, 2015 at Many Health Care North in Many, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Carrie Dryden Malone; first wife, Audrey Stewart Malone; his second wife, Josephine Moore Malone and his brother, Huey Malone. Mr. Malone was a veteran of World War II. He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific. Mr. Malone served the people of Many and surrounding areas as a self-employed plumber and electrician. He was a faithful member of the Friendship Church of the Nazarene, serving as a board member for many years. After his marriage to Mrs. Josephine, he also attended St. John's Catholic Church of Many. After Mr. Malone became a resident of Many Health Care North, he quickly became a favorite of both staff members and residents. He was a kind, gentle man, who always had a smile and encouraging word for everyone. He is survived by his sister of Pineville, LA; his late wife's three sons; seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to Jimmy and Thelma, who were devoted caregivers to Mr. Malone throughout his senior years. The family would also like to extend thanks to the staff at Many Health Care North. Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many, LA.
