Description	:	Word was recelved in Windfall today of the death of Mrs. Ida B. Summers, ags 71, lifetime Windfall resident, at Reed Memorial hospital in Richmond at 3 o'clock this morning. Mrs. Summer had been ill for some time. She was born Sept. 4, 1871, seven miles northeast of Windfall, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Shockney. She married John C. Mrs. Summer had been ill for some time. She was born Sept. 4, 1871, seven miles northeast of Windfall, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Shockney. She married John C. Summers while a young girl and he died nine years ago in 1934. She was a member of the New Hope Friends church at Phlox and the windfall Eastern Star. Mrs. Summers first became ill about a year ago and sold her farm, moving to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thurman Markle, in Richmond. Survivors include a son, S.D. Summers, of Winchester; Mrs. Markle; a grandson; five brothers, Earl, Jesse and Roscoe, of near Windfall; Rollo, of Muncie and Chester of Anderson; five sisters, Henrietta Shockney, Mrs. O.W. Silvy, Mrs. Lee Schrader, Mrs. John Patterson, and Mrs. Tom Landrum.
