Hall, 95, a resident of Marion for more than 75 years, died at 3:45 p.m. Thursday in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Snell, 300 South Eleventh street. Born May 23, 1852, at Towanda, Pa., the daughter of Willis G. and Hannah Mills White, she came to Marion with her parents when she was 18 years old. She was married Jan. 1, 1879, to Oliver S. Hall, and for many years they lived in the home where she died and which formerly was their property. Mr. Hall died May 1, 1913. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Marion Methodist church, the Reading circle and of the O.O.P club. Until a short time before her last illness she retained her keen sense of humor, helped with club programs, and kept busy crocheting and reading. She had fully recovered from a hip fracture suffered in her eighty-ninth year. Surviving, in addition to her daughter, Mrs. Mae Snell, are three sons, Harry W., Rogers, Ark.; Lyndon W., Marion, and G. Lawrence Hall, Long Beach; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Sadie Knodle, Marion. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Yocom chapel. The Rev. James P. Gable will officiate and burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel until 1 p.m. Saturday, when the casket will be closed. Pallbearers will be Willis Jordan, Charles H. Keenan, John McDonnell and L.C. Wieneke. Daughter of Willis G. and Hannah Mills White; married Oliver S. Hall on Jan. 1, 1879; he died May 1, 1913.
